D-Day 61 years ago

Friends,

I think it is important to note that D-Day was 61 years ago today. The D-Day invasion was certainly a notable event in human history, and a turning point in World War II. Many people lost their lives during the invasion, people just like you and me. A moment of silence for them please.

It is crushingly sad to think that so many lives were lost because of a few foolish leaders and their greedy aspirations. War is conspired by greedy men, and carried out by good men who are simply in need of a paycheque. Sadly, Earth has continued to become host to numerous other battles. Even as we speak, military forces trudge through Iraq directed by the wishes of a greedy and cowardly leader, Mr. Bush. I wish it would end.
